Contribute antibodies

Under the auspices of the National Institutes of Health, the Developmental Studies Hybridoma Bank banks and distributes monoclonal antibodies and their products to benefit the biology research community.  If you have generated any hybridomas against animal cell antigens or against viral, bacterial, fungal or protozoan antigens, bank them with us for distribution.  Remember that we will distribute them, but you still own and can commercialize them; customers cannot.  When you have an antibody to contribute, contact us with the name, target molecule, and publication information.  For a monoclonal of interest, we provide our FedEx account number and request you send 2 vials of frozen cells per line.  There is minimal paperwork involved.

If you know of hybridomas that you would like made available at low cost and high quality, let us know their names, their target molecules, and the scientists who generated them.  We will contact the scientists and try to secure the hybridomas for the collection.

Thanks very much for your help.
