Conference sponsorship

The DSHB provides support for scientific meetings of interest to our customers. Past support includes the Avian Immunology Research Group meeting in Budapest; the ESF-EMBO symposium Emergent Properties of the Cytoskeleton: Molecules to Cells, Spain; Zebrafish Disease Modeling III: Cancer, Blood Development and Immune Responses, Boston; the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology conference in Toronto, and the EMBO conference, Molecular and Cellular Basis of Regeneration & Tissue Repair, Portugal. 2011 conference sponsorship included the FASEB summer conference Membrane Organization by Molecular Scaffolds, Vermont; the Society for Developmental Biology West Coast Regional Meeting; the 4th Strategic Conference of Zebrafish Investigators at Asilomar; the Gordon Research Conference on Tissue Repair & Regeneration, and student travel awards for the 70th annual meeting of the Society for Developmental Biology.
