Depositor Notes: Immunogen species is Neisseria gonorrhoeae strain 1291. 3F11 recognizes a site common to gonococcal LPS and is partially shared with meningococcal LPS. Sialylation of LOS obscures the 3F11 epitope. Therefore, for IHC or IF, remove sialic acid residues from LOS pre-treatment with neuraminidase is required.
